About AARTHI SABANAYAGAM
Meet Dr. Aarthi Sabanayagam, a highly skilled cardiologist specializing in Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Cardiovascular Disease, particularly in treating pregnant patients with heart conditions. Dr. Sabanayagam completed her medical degree at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, followed by residencies and fellowships at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She holds fellowships with the American College of Cardiology and in Adult Congenital Heart Disease from UCSF. Dr. Sabanayagam is a co-director of the UCSF Pregnancy and Cardiac Treatment (PACT) Program and is affiliated with the International Society for Adult Congenital Heart Disease and the Adult Congenital Heart Association. Her expertise includes interpreting echocardiograms and performing transesophageal echocardiograms.
