About ADIL JAVED
Dr. Adil Javed is a board-certified neurologist. He graduated from Loyola Univ. Stritch School of Medicine completed his internship at the Evanston Northwestern Healthcare. He finished his residency at Yale-New Haven Hosp. and Fellowship at the Univ. of Chicago Medicine. He also finished his Ph.D. at Southern Illinois Univ. He has been practicing in the field of neurology since 2006. He has expertise in autoimmune diseases of the brain and spine, including Sjögren's disease, multiple sclerosis, lupus & other related connective tissue diseases. His translational research interests include analyzing brain pathology using new and advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques. He has clinical and research interests in neuromyelitis Optica, also known as Devic's disease. He specializes in nervous system complications of infectious and post-infectious diseases. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology. He is also a principal investigator in numerous clinical trials of multiple sclerosis and neuromyelitis Optica. He is affiliated with UChicago Medicine-University of Chicago Medical Center.
