Meet Dr. Ajo Joy, a Certified Neurologist based in Gilbert, AZ. Dr. Joy holds a medical degree from the American University of Integrative Sciences St. Maarten School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. He also underwent specialized training in clinical electrophysiology focusing on electromyography (EMG) and electroencephalography (EEG) at VCU. Throughout his career, Dr. Joy has actively contributed to various stroke research initiatives. He serves on the stroke team at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and mentors medical students from Midwestern University and A.T. Still University as a Clinical Preceptor. Affiliated with Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and Chandler Regional Medical Center, Dr. Joy is dedicated to providing expert neurological care.
