About ALAN PARENT

Dr. Alan Parent is a well-known eye doctor in Warren, MI. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, graduated with honors from Wayne State University School of Medicine with his Doctor of Medicine, and then completed a surgical internship and ophthalmology residency at Rush University in Chicago. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is also a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and serves on committees for the Michigan State Medical Society and Macomb County Medical Society. He is the Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology and is the former Director of Surgical Education for the Ophthalmology residency program. He specializes in treating advanced surgical treatment of cataracts. He has been practicing at Cataract and Eye Consultants of Michigan since 2001.
