About ALCHEMY YOGA & WELLNESS STUDIO
Here's The Deal: Alchemy Yoga & Wellness Studio is a well-known yoga studio in Niagara Falls. Rachel Rogers is the owner and founder of Alchemy Yoga Studio, which was established in 2015. Rachel desired to create a quaint studio space that would be a safe place to explore yoga in a judgment-free way. Rachel started offering spaces like this when she began her long-time community work in raising awareness for mental health in 1998. Alchemy has offered many community yoga projects in collaboration with Pathstone to support continued community awareness surrounding mental health in the last decade. Rachel completed her double major undergraduate degree in Psychology and Women's Studies in 2011 to pursue her passion to help people living with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD and addictions, with the hopes of becoming a social worker or psychotherapist. Rachel knew the underrated effects yoga had on mental health and decided to let her passion for helping others come through the form of yoga alongside her educational background. She began to help others find inner peace and clarity in the same way that Rachel found a transformed life through the philosophies and practice of yoga. Since 2015, Rachel has added several incredible and like-minded yoga teacher graduates from Alchemy's internally recognized Yoga Teacher Training School, which Rachel began offering in 2019. Rachel wanted to offer the true richness that the roots of yoga entail to those who want to take their love of yoga to the next level and to be able to teach those philosophies from a non-egoic place to others. They are an environmental studio for all community members to feel included, non-judged and free to explore the poses, the breathwork, and the philosophies of yoga no matter what level of experience they have with yoga, and regardless of age, race, gender or spiritual beliefs.
