About ALEC KAY
Meet Alec Kay, an accomplished physical therapist based in Anchorage, AK, with a wealth of experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and has completed advanced degrees including a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific in 1990, a Master of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in 1997, and a Doctor of Manual Therapy in 2000. Alec is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and also holds certifications as a ChiRunning instructor and athletic trainer. With expertise in sports injuries, hand, as well as various neuromuscular and neurological conditions, Alec currently serves as the president of the American Physical Therapy Association Alaska. Since 2001, he has been the owner of United Physical Therapy, a clinic dedicated to helping individuals of all ages and abilities optimize their body's functioning. Specializing in manual therapy, intramuscular therapy, joint and soft tissue mobilization, the clinic provides tailored exercises and rehabilitation programs to enhance patients' quality of life.
