About ALEKOS THEOLOGIS
Dr. Alekos Theologis is an experienced orthopedic surgeon who specializes in treating both adults and children. He graduated from the UCSF School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency there, where he was the chief resident in his final year. Following this, he pursued a fellowship in adult and pediatric spine surgery at Washington University in St. Louis and an orthopedics fellowship in Ghana through Health Volunteers Overseas. With over 12 years of experience, Dr. Alekos focuses on risk assessment, management of complications, and revision surgery for failed implants in spinal surgery. Apart from his clinical practice at UCSF Health-Berkeley Outpatient Center, he is also actively involved in health policy, global health initiatives, and mentoring future healthcare professionals.
