About ALEXIOS G. CARAYANNOPOULOS

Dr. Alexios G. Carayannopoulos is a renowned expert in rehabilitation, interventional spine treatment, and pain medicine. He holds board certifications in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as pain medicine. Dr. Alexios completed his fellowship at Dartmouth Medical School/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center specializing in pain medicine. Additionally, he is a Medical Acupuncturist trained at Harvard. Dr. Alexios actively engages in clinical research focusing on spinal cord stimulation and stem cell therapy for degenerative disc disease. He serves as the Chief of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Lifespan Physician Group and works as an attending physician at the Norman Prince Spine Institute, with affiliations at leading medical facilities including The Miriam Hospital and Newport Hospital. Dr. Alexios holds a master's degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University and is certified in medical acupuncture from Harvard University.
