He underwent his internship and residency training at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles Medical Center, and pursued further specialization with a Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. With over 16 years of practice, Dr. Patel is skilled in intricate surgical techniques including microvascular surgery, nerve, and tendon repairs.
