About ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR ANTONIO DI IEVA
Professor Antonio Di Ieva, a skilled neurosurgeon, obtained his medical degree in 2002 and specialized in Neurosurgery in Italy in 2007. He completed a three-year fellowship in skull base surgery at St. Michael's Hospital, University of Toronto, in 2014. During his fellowship, he gained expertise in Gamma Knife radiosurgery and emergency neurosurgery at a major trauma center in Ontario, Canada. Prof. Antonio's main focus areas include pituitary and skull base surgery, micro neurosurgery, endoscopic and minimally invasive techniques, awake surgery, and neuromonitoring. With a strong research background, he has authored over 100 peer-reviewed articles, two books, and numerous book chapters. Prof. Antonio has been recognized with five international awards in Neurosurgery and Neurosciences. He has also organized workshops nationally and internationally to train various medical professionals. Prof. Antonio Di Ieva is fluent in English, German, and Italian and offers services by appointment.
