Dr. Brian M. Grosberg graduated from Suny Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, completed his residency at Albert Einstein College Of Medicine, and pursued a fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Hartford Healthcare Headache Program and holds the position of Professor of Neurology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Brian possesses extensive experience in clinical trials research related to headaches. Recognized for his outstanding contributions, Dr. Grosberg has received prestigious awards, including the Clinical Headache Fellowship Award from the American Headache Society, the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Gold DOC award, and the Members Choice Award for the Best Paper published in the journal Headache. His primary interests center around the clinical aspects of headaches, particularly the diagnosis, classification, and definition of unusual headache syndromes such as retinal migraine, cluster headache, new daily persistent headache, and nummular headache. With over 150 invited lectures delivered at local, national, and international levels, Dr. Brian is affiliated with professional organizations such as the American Academy of Neurology, International Headache Society, and National Headache Foundation. Apart from his expertise in clinical trials research, he has a significant focus on headache-related education, with over 100 peer-reviewed publications, invited reviews, textbooks, book chapters, and abstracts to his credit. As an editor for the book "Headache" in the "Neurology in Practice" series, Dr. Grosberg has played a pivotal role in advancing headache medicine. Additionally, he has organized and led annual preceptorships for neurologists from Colombia, South America, contributing to their professional growth in the field of headache medicine.
