About BRIAN M. PLATO

Dr. Brian M. Plato, a board-certified neurologist specializing in headache medicine, received his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency and internship in neurology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where he served as chief resident of neurology and completed a mini fellowship in headache medicine. Dr. Plato is affiliated with Norton Hospital and holds positions as a board member of the Southern Headache Society and serves as the chair of the American Headache Society's special interest section on complementary and alternative medicine. Actively involved with the Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy organization, he advocates for increased public awareness of headaches and related issues. Dr. Plato is an active investigator in various clinical trials aimed at developing new treatments for headache disorders. Known for his attentive approach, he takes the time to thoroughly listen to his patients' symptoms and concerns. Dr. Plato is currently accepting new patients and offers telehealth appointments for added convenience.
