Dr. Yowell earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Duke University Hospital.He performed over 300 surgeries performed using the minimally invasive laparoscopic technique, with robotic assistance whenever possible. With over twenty-two years of experience in the field of urology, Dr. Yowell has gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise, enabling him to provide personalized, compassionate, and effective care to his patients. His exceptional communication skills in English further enhance his ability to build strong, trusting relationships with his patients, helping them achieve optimal health outcomes. Dr. Charles Yowell is currently practises at TMH Physician Partners. Their surgery team uses the latest technology, including Mako Robotic-Arm Technology for partial and total knee replacement procedures and da Vinci Robotic Technology for minimally invasive procedures in areas of gynecology, urology, oncology, cardiothoracic and general surgery. Their M.T. Mustian Center is equipped with 28 operating rooms and four hybrid interventional suites including two neurovascular interventional radiology rooms and two vascular interventional radiology rooms.
