Its tranquil setting fosters a safe and soothing environment for patients to undergo acupuncture in small group sessions while seated in comfortable recliners. With four reclining seats and four massage tables available, CTCA ensures ample space for treatment. Zhihong Shang, a Licensed Acupuncturist in Connecticut and nationally board-certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), established Clove Tree Community Acupuncture in 2011. Specializing in acupuncture, Chinese herbology, and other Chinese medical modalities, her mission is to deliver high-quality and affordable acupuncture services to the neighborhoods of Greater New Haven.
