Meet Dr. Craig R. Mahoney, a distinguished orthopedic surgeon based in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Mahoney earned his medical degree from The University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in 1995. Subsequently, he completed his residency at the Creighton/University of Nebraska Health Foundation in Omaha, NE. Following this, he underwent fellowship training at the renowned Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, NY. Dr. Mahoney is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons with over 29 years of experience. His areas of expertise include stem cell treatment, meniscus tears, work-related injuries, adult reconstructive surgery, and arthroscopic surgery of the knee and hip.
