About DAMIEN K. TAVARES

Dr. Damien K. Tavares is an interventional pain management specialist in Honolulu, HI. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Hawai'i John A. Burns School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery internship at the University of Hawai'i. Dr. Tavares is double board-certified in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He has over 17 years of experience. He has performed thousands of interventional procedures, including surgical implants, for refractory pain. He has expertise in diagnosing and treating post-op complications. He uses radiofrequency neurolysis, bursal, and joint injections to treat pain conditions. Dr. Tavares is the founder and owner of the Hawaii Pain Center in Honolulu.
