About DANIEL J. TOMES

Dr. Daniel J. Tomes is one of the leading Neurosurgeons in Lincoln. He completed his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, NE, with Distinction. Dr. Daniel J. Tomes completed his internship and residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He specializes in performing surgery on the spine, brain, and peripheral nerves. Dr. Daniel has operative interests include brain and spinal tumor resection, management of traumatic and athletic injuries of the brain and spine. He handles minimally invasive spine surgery to improve spine/extremity pain and the rapid return of individuals to their daily lives. He also provides neurosurgical consultation in office as well as at multiple outreach clinics across Southeast and Central Nebraska. He received the award for an excellent research paper from the North American spine society for his research on spinal cord injury. He is also affiliated with Bryan Medical Center, Jennie M. Melham Memorial Medical Center, and CHI Health St Elizabeth. Dr. Daniel currently practices at Nebraska Neurosurgery Group LLC and is affiliated with CHI Saint Elizabeth.
