About DAVID C. LIEB

Meet Dr. David C. Lieb, a respected endocrinologist based in Norfolk, VA. Dr. Lieb obtained his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 2003, completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Oregon Health and Science in 2006, and finished a Fellowship in Endocrinology at the University of Virginia in 2009. With over 21 years of experience, he is double board-certified in Internal Medicine since 2006 and Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism since 2009. Dr. Lieb specializes in treating type 1 and 2 diabetes, thyroid disease management, and thyroid cancer. In 2020, he received the Outpatient Subspecialist Teaching Award from the Virginia chapter of the American College of Physicians for his teaching excellence. Currently serving as an associate professor of internal medicine and program director of endocrinology, Dr. Lieb practices at EVMS Endocrinology in Norfolk.
