About DEANA MERCER

Meet Dr. Deana Mercer, a seasoned orthopedic surgeon certified by the board in Albuquerque, NM. Graduating from the University of New Mexico in 2003, Dr. Mercer pursued her fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle, and a subsequent fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery. Currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at the University of New Mexico, Dr. Mercer is an active researcher focusing on shoulder, elbow, and hand pathology, as well as biomechanical research on orthopedic musculoskeletal issues.
