About DENNIS D. KOKENES

Meet Dr. Dennis D. Kokenes, a certified gastroenterologist based in Charlotte, NC. He obtained his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and completed his residency at Boston City Hospital, Boston University, followed by a fellowship at Emory University, Atlanta, GA. With a focus on adult gastroenterology and hepatology, Dr. Dennis specializes in colon cancer screening, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, and ERCP. He is an active member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). Dr. Dennis is involved in the Charlotte medical community and has served on the board of Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region. He was also a founding board member and former treasurer of the North Carolina Society for Gastroenterology (NCSG). Currently, Dr. Dennis practices at Charlotte Gastroenterology & Hepatology.
