About DONNA SAATMAN
Dr. Donna Saatman is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in treating patients who suffer from back pain and neck pain. She finished her undergraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA, and medical school at SUNY Health Science Center, Syracuse, NY. Dr. Donna also completed her fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center in 2002 and residency training at the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL. The field of neurosurgery encompasses surgery for certain conditions of the brain and spine and the nerves that run through your extremities. The majority of patients actually can be treated successfully with physical therapy and medical management. Dr. Saatman has also successfully researched her “Investigations in neuropharmacological research of schizophrenia” research at Suny Health Science Center. She is a member of AANS, HCMA, NASS, WINS, and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. She is affiliated with medical facilities such as HCA Florida Brandon Hospital and HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. She is currently practicing at Florida Surgery Consultants. The clinic has an experienced team of board-certified neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons who perform minimally invasive procedures and the most complex procedures.
