Introducing Dr. Douglas P. Prevost, a highly qualified orthopedic surgeon based in Anchorage, AK. Dr. Prevost is board-certified and received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. Furthering his expertise, he completed a Total Joint Reconstruction fellowship at the same institution and a Joint Preserving Surgery of the Hip fellowship at AO International in Bern, Switzerland.With a focus on tissue-preserving total joint replacement of the hip and knee, Dr. Prevost specializes in revision total hip and knee replacement surgery, as well as complex fracture management. His training includes innovative joint preservation surgery for conditions like hip dysplasia and femoral acetabular impingement. Dr. Prevost has been actively involved in teaching orthopedic surgery residents and has served as a staff orthopedic surgeon at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX.
