Dr. Choong Chai obtained his BDS from the University of Otago in 2001. He has extensive experience in general dentistry, emergency dental care, trauma, oral surgery, and orthodontics after treating numerous public health patients. Since graduating, Dr. Chai has been actively pursuing Continuous Dental Education, engaging in hundreds of hours of further training. As the Principal Dentist at Valley Gentle Dental, Dr. Choong and his team are committed to providing excellent dental care with a gentle approach for you and your family. With over 30 years of combined dental experience, Dr. Choong Chai and Mrs. Corinna Carpenter follow a philosophy that integrates advanced dental technology with top-notch care in a welcoming environment.
