Meet Dr. Daryl Fourney, a prominent neurosurgeon based in Saskatoon, SK. With a medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan, he completed his residency in neurosurgery at the same institution and pursued a fellowship in neurosurgical oncology at the renowned University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Fourney specializes in treating brain tumors and complex spinal disorders, including spine tumors. His extensive expertise is evident through over 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters he has authored. Notable achievements include his past presidency at the Canadian Spine Society (2007-2009) and chairmanship for the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons Joint Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves in 2012. Additionally, Dr. Fourney serves as the Director of Research for the Division of Neurosurgery and the Department of Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan.
