Dr. Devang Maheshchandra Desai is one of Surat's foremost interventional cardiologists and cardiovascular specialists. He attained his MBBS and MD degrees from M.S. University, Baroda, and completed his DM in cardiology at Mumbai University. Dr. Devang holds the distinction of being the first cardiologist from Surat to perform ulnar artery angioplasty and stenting.
