About DR GEOFFREY EVANS
Meet Dr. Geoffrey Evans, an experienced cardiology specialist with a rich background in the field. He obtained his degree from the University of Tasmania in Australia in 1997 and completed his physician and cardiology training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre. To further his expertise, he pursued a fellowship in echocardiography at St Michael’s Hospital and completed the CT coronary angiography program at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Evans is a member of the American Society of Cardiovascular CT. His areas of focus include stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echo, contrast ultrasound, and 3D echocardiography. Apart from specializing in echocardiography, he has a keen interest in cardiac oncology and multi-modality imaging. Dr. Evans contributes his expertise to rural and remote communities as a consultant for the ICARNET GP Support Service. He provides cardiology consultations in several regional areas in Tasmania and the Northern Territory. Additionally, Dr. Evans is multilingual, proficient in Australian-Indigenous languages.
