Here's The Deal: Dr. Ivan Wong is one of the leading orthopedic surgeons in Halifax. He received his Masters in Academic Medicine from the University of Southern California. He completed his fellowship with Dr. Stephen Snyder at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute. Dr. Ivan Wong is also a certified fellow of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons (ABOS) and the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM). He is the current President of the Arthroscopy Association of Canada (AAC) and the Chair of Research at the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA). Dr. Ivan Wong is a board member at the AANA and serves on the American Journal of Sports Medicine (AJSM) and Arthroscopy and the Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery editorial board. He has successfully collaborated with more than 40 international surgeons and continues to oversee and mentor orthopedic fellows, residents, and undergraduate students. His expertise lies in minimally invasive shoulder, hip, and knee arthroscopic surgeries. Over the past decade, he has published over 170 peer-reviewed papers and presented his research outcomes and surgical techniques at over 200 conferences, webinars, and courses worldwide.
