About DR. JOHN THIEL
Meet Dr. John Thiel, a highly regarded gynecologist based in Regina. As a Clinical Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Saskatchewan, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his practice. Dr. Thiel holds a BSc (1983), MSc (1986), and MD (1991) from the University of Saskatchewan and obtained his Royal College Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1996. He also serves as the director of the postgraduate fellowship program in Minimally Invasive Gynecology at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Thiel has been recognized with prestigious teaching awards, including the CREOG and APGO Excellence in Teaching Awards, in addition to receiving the esteemed 2010 Golden Hysteroscope award for his outstanding hysteroscopy paper at the 39th Global Congress of Minimally Invasive Surgery.
