About DR. KATIE MERRICKS
Dr. Katie Merricks is a licensed psychologist in Clearwater, Florida. She obtained her Ph.D. in combined Counseling and School Psychology from the Florida State University. Dr. Katie Merricks specializes in treating people with obsessive-compulsive and anxiety-related disorders. She completed additional training at the University of South Florida's (USF) Rothman Center for Pediatric Neuropsychiatry, where she provided treatment to patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder, trichotillomania, excoriation, and many other anxiety-based disorders. She also utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with exposure response prevention (ERP) to provide the best evidence-based treatment possible to her clients. She also worked in both the partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient program.
