Meet Dr. Kristine Chapman, a skilled neurologist with extensive training and experience. Dr. Chapman earned her medical degree and completed her neurology residency at the University of British Columbia. She furthered her expertise with a fellowship in neuromuscular disease at Harvard University. Specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the peripheral nerves and muscles, Dr. Chapman is highly regarded for her proficiency in performing Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) and Electromyography (EMG) to identify various neurologic issues.Passionate about autoimmune nerve disorders, neuromuscular junction problems, and traumatic nerve injuries, Dr. Chapman leads the neurology department at Providence Health. She also heads the VH Neuromuscular Disease Program and co-directs the Complex Nerve Injury Program. Dr. Chapman's dedication extends to promoting innovation and quality in healthcare as the Physician Lead for Innovation and Quality at Providence Health Care Department of Medicine.In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Chapman is actively involved in research and education. As a Clinical Professor at UBC, she contributes to clinical research and educational programs, both locally and nationally. She is committed to nurturing expertise in her field, as evidenced by her role as an examiner for the CSCN EMG exam.Beyond her educational pursuits, Dr. Chapman plays a key role in shaping neurological advancements.
