About DR LAURENCE MCENTEE
Meet Dr. Laurence McEntee, an Orthopaedic Surgeon with an impressive background. He graduated from The University of Auckland in 1999 with a Bachelor of Human Biology, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery in 2002. Dr. McEntee became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2011 after completing his orthopaedic training. His passion for spine surgery led him to pursue specialized training through the Allamanda Private Hospital Spinal Fellowship, accredited by the Australian Orthopaedic Association, working under the guidance of Associate Professor Mathew Scott-Young. Dr. McEntee joined Gold Coast Spine before opening his own practice in 2020. He also serves as an Assistant Professor at Bond University’s Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine, while actively participating in research to advance spine surgery outcomes. He is affiliated with esteemed organizations such as the Spine Society of Australia, the North American Spine Society, and the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery. Additionally, Dr. McEntee is a certified Independent Medical Examiner and is known for his expertise in Robotic Spine Surgery.
