About DR. MARY FROST
Meet Dr. Frost, a distinguished general adult psychiatrist with Fellowship status from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) since 1994. Graduating from Flinders University in 1983, Dr. Frost began her career at Royal Darwin Hospital in 1985-86. Her medical journey included roles as an Obstetric Registrar in General Practice in rural NSW and Canberra, where she pursued further qualifications in women's health. Dr. Frost currently shares her expertise as a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry, guiding medical students from Flinders University. Prior to this role, she served as a Clinical Lecturer in Psychiatry at Adelaide University. Dr. Frost is actively involved in the Forensic section of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and participates in the Australian New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology, and the Law, with a keen interest in medico-legal psychiatry. Alongside her educational commitments, Dr. Frost conducts Independent Medical Examinations for various organizations, such as insurers, employers, and legal entities. She remains connected to the public health system through her involvement in teaching and supervising trainee psychiatrists. Notably, Dr. Frost specializes in medico-legal assessments and independent medical examinations.
