About DR. MITCHELL WEINSTEIN
Dr. Mitchell Weinstein completed his medical school training at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Following that, he pursued his internship in General Surgery at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. Subsequently, he completed his residency as Urology Chief Resident at Botsford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, where he was recognized as the Urology Osteopathic Resident of the Year in 199. Affiliated with prominent medical associations such as the American Urological Association (AUA), American Osteopathic Association (AOA), American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (ACOS), Broward County Osteopathic Medical Association (BCOMA), Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA), Florida Urological Society (FUS), and Large Urology Group Practice Association (LUGPA), Dr. Weinstein is deeply involved in the medical community. Since 1991, he has held the position of Associate Professor of Urology for NOVA Medical School and has served as the Urology Section Chief for Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines since 2007. Dr. Mitchell Weinstein's extensive involvement and leadership underscore his commitment to both medical education and providing exceptional urological care.
