Dr. P L Rao is a prominent figure in the field of ophthalmology in Nellore. His academic journey began with the completion of his MBBS at Kurnool Medical College in 1987, followed by MS in Ophthalmology at MR Medical College, Gulbarga, in 1990. He pursued further specialisation through a Fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus, Contact Lens, and Micro Surgery at Aravind Eye Hospital in 1992. Additionally, he received training in Lasik Refractive Surgery in Germany. Dr. P L Rao has performed approximately 700 vitreo-retinal surgeries, retinal surgeries, and AntiVEGF treatments.
