Meet Dr. Penny A. MacDonald, a seasoned neurologist specializing in the treatment of movement disorders. She serves as the principal investigator at The Brain and Mind Institute. Dr. MacDonald holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Toronto under the mentorship of Dr. Colin MacLeod. She completed medical school at McMaster University and a neurology residency at McGill University. Additionally, she underwent clinical and research fellowship training in Movement Disorders with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. Dr. MacDonald is passionate about diagnosing and managing cognitive impairments in movement disorders and provides comprehensive care for patients with various movement disorders.
