About DR. SAMEER CHHIBBER

Meet Dr. Sameer Chhibber, a distinguished neurologist based in Calgary, AB. He earned his medical degree from the University of Calgary and completed his neurology training at the same institution, earning the Royal College certification (FRCPC). Dr. Sameer then pursued further specialization in neuromuscular medicine and electrophysiology at Harvard University in Boston. He is a diplomate of the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists (CSCN-EMG) for conducting nerve conduction studies and electromyography. Dr. Sameer co-founded the Alberta Neurologic Centre (ANC), where he currently serves as the medical director and EMG Director. Additionally, he is a clinical associate professor at the University of Calgary's Division of Neurology. Dr. Sameer Chhibber is actively involved in educating and mentoring undergraduate students, residents, and fellows, and has been recognized with several teaching accolades. Notably, he has trained more than 200 residents and overseen the certification of 13 neuromuscular CSCN-EMG physicians through his fellowship program in the last seven years.
