She earned recognition for her research on "A Novel Treatment Adjunct for Aspirin Exacerbated Respiratory Disease (AERD)," demonstrating the efficacy of a low-salicylate diet in improving nasal polyps in AERD patients, and won the American Rhinologic Society's Best Clinical Project award. Her dedication to education is evident through her pursuit of a Master of Science in Health Science Education at McMaster University, where she excelled and received the School of Graduate Studies Scholarship.
