About DR STEVEN KYPRAIOS
Meet Dr. Steven Kypraios, the director of the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory at Buderim Private Hospital. With specializations in general and interventional cardiology, he focuses on assessing and managing acute chest pain, heart attacks, coronary angiography, stenting, pacemaker implantation, echocardiography, and stress echocardiography. Dr. Kypraios is also the director of Sunshine Coast Cardiology. Graduating from the University of Melbourne in 1990, Dr. Kypraios later became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. His expertise includes coronary angioplasty, stenting, and angiography, benefiting patients in the Sunshine Coast region. Dr. Kypraios played a pivotal role in establishing interventional cardiology services at Buderim Private Hospital, such as after-hours stenting for acute heart attacks. He actively provides urgent and non-urgent care to cardiac inpatients at the hospital.
