About DR. TERESA TSANG
Meet Dr. Teresa Tsang, a highly skilled cardiologist based in Vancouver, BC. She holds key positions as the Director of Echocardiography at Vancouver General Hospital and UBC Hospital, as well as being a Professor of Medicine and Associate Head of Research for the Department of Medicine. Dr. Tsang obtained her medical degree, completed her internal medicine and cardiology fellowships at the University of Alberta, and finished her fellowship in Echocardiography at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. With over a decade of experience at the Mayo Clinic, she focused her research on understanding the aging process and its impact on the cardiovascular system. Dr. Tsang is dedicated to enhancing predictive capabilities for age-related cardiovascular issues, with a particular interest in atrial fibrillation, heart failure, stroke, and cognitive dysfunction.
