About DR. THANU RUBAN
Introducing: Dr. Thanu Ruban, a renowned rheumatologist based in Markham, Ontario. Dr. Ruban obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from McMaster University in 2008, followed by completing her Internal Medicine Fellowship there in 2012. She further pursued a Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Toronto in 2014. With a focus on patients with various inflammatory conditions like arthritis and autoimmune diseases, her expertise extends to managing inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disease, vasculitis, gout, and crystal arthritis. Dr. Ruban serves as a medical staff member at Oak Valley Health (formerly Markham Stouffville Hospital) and holds the title of Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto. She is an active member of key professional organizations including the Canadian Rheumatology Association, Ontario Rheumatology Association, and the American College of Rheumatology.
