About DR. WALTER JOHN HADER
Meet Dr. Walter John Hader, a seasoned neurosurgeon based in Calgary, AB. With his background in Mercyhurst College in Pennsylvania for his undergraduate studies, and the University of Saskatchewan for his medical degree, Dr. Hader went on to complete his residency at the University of British Columbia and a fellowship in Toronto. He is an expert in epilepsy and pediatric neurosurgery, focusing his research on children with hydrocephalus and surgical treatment of temporal lobe epilepsy. Dr. Hader is also researching the effects of different epilepsy surgeries on neuropsychological and visual outcomes. In addition to his research work, Dr. Walter is an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Calgary.
