About FARRELL C. TYSON
Dr. Farrell C. Tyson received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. The doctor is board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmologists. He completed his surgical internship 1998 at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Farrell C. Tyson is currently serving at Tyson Eye and has been in practice since 1997. He was one of the first in the world to operate Intraoperative Wavefront Technology during cataract surgery. His specialized ophthalmic treatments in refractive surgery include custom wavefront LASIK, precise lens extraction, implanting contact lenses (ICL), and reduction of astigmatism. Dr. Farrell presented at the First International Symposium of Dhahran Eye Specialist Hospital in Saudi Arabia. He practices at Tyson Eye in Cape Coral. Tyson Eye is a second-generation, privately-owned ophthalmology practice founded in 1980.
