About IRFAN H. AHMED
Dr. Irfan H. Ahmed is one of the well-known orthopedic surgeons in Newark, NJ. He received his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan and completed his Orthopedic training at Temple University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopedics Surgery. He finished a fellowship in hand surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center through Harvard Medical School. Dr. Irfan completed his orthopedic surgery residency and general surgery internship at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is an expert in performing hand surgeries. Dr. Irfan provides Health Volunteers Overseas (HVO) orthopedic hand surgery services. He is an associate professor of the Department of Orthopaedics at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
