About JAMES E. OWENS

James E. Owens is one of the leading physical therapists in Grand Rapids, MI. He graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences in 1999 and later received his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University in 2001. He obtained his McKenzie Spine Certification in 2006 from the McKenzie Institute. He has over twenty-three years of experience in physical therapy. He specializes in treating spinal disorders, pre and post-surgical, orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and cardiac rehabilitation. Jim has been an adjunct professor of the physical therapy program at Grand Valley State University since 2006. He has been a member of the APTA and in good standing since 2004. His passion and primary experience have been in the outpatient orthopedic setting, emphasizing the treatment of spine disorders, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation involving every area of the musculoskeletal system.
