Dr. James F. Jackson is a board-certified gastroenterologist in San Antonio, TX. He received his bachelor's Degree at Davidson College, Davidson, and his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He finished his gastroenterology fellowship and residency at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta. Dr. James currently practices as the Chief of Gastroenterology at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital. He has a particular interest in general gastroenterology and hepatology. Dr. James has received extensive training in treating inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis. His academic interests led to publications in prestigious journals that, including the American Journal of Gastroenterology, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, and The American Journal of Medical Sciences.
