Introducing Janet Cartwright, a seasoned clinical psychologist located in Wollongong, NSW, with a wealth of experience spanning over 16 years in the psychology field. Janet holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours. Actively involved in professional organizations such as The Australian Psychological Society (APS), The Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), and the Australian Professional Association for Transgender Health (AusPATH), she remains dedicated to staying updated on current research in effective therapy techniques. Janet's research interests center on the importance of the therapy relationship.Proficient in a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema-focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Janet also provides services for clients under the Workers Compensation System and the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA). Committed to continuous professional development, she regularly participates in workshops and training sessions.
