About JASON ETZEL

Meet Dr. Jason Etzel, a renowned gastroenterologist based in Vancouver. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and a Doctor of Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. Following his residency in internal medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, Dr. Etzel completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. His expertise lies in treating inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Dr. Etzel also pursued a Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation Visiting Inflammatory Bowel Disease Fellowship at the University of North Carolina to gain additional specialization in this field. His practice also focuses on anorectal disorders such as fissures and hemorrhoids, along with colon cancer screening.
