After completing his post-graduate training, including a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Dharwar, India, he became board certified in Internal Medicine at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in Bronx, New York. Furthering his expertise, he obtained his Board Certification in Medical Oncology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
