About JEFFREY E. THOMAS

Meet Dr. Jeffrey E. Thomas, a highly skilled neurosurgery specialist with 34 years of experience in Fremont, CA. He completed his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1988 and is known for integrating microsurgery and minimally-invasive endovascular techniques for treating cerebral aneurysms and other brain vascular lesions. Board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, Dr. Thomas is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the New York Academy of Medicine. His expertise led him to join Washington Hospital in Fremont in 2011. Dr. Thomas received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Columbia University, completed internship and neurosurgical residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and the University of Southern California, respectively, and pursued a fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He also conducted research at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Thomas has been instrumental in establishing a Comprehensive Center for Cerebrovascular, Neurointerventional, and Stroke Surgery, serving the San Francisco Bay Area.
