About JENNIFER SCHENING

Dr. Jennifer Schening is a highly skilled pediatrician in Elgin, IL, with 27 years of experience. She began her education at Loyola University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Osteopathy from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following her internship at Olympia Fields Osteopathic Hospital, Dr. Schening completed her residency at Christ Hospital and Hope Children's Hospital in Oaklawn, Illinois. She was involved in the board to obtain Advocate Sherman Breastfeeding Friendly status and currently holds privileges in the pediatric department at Advocate Sherman Hospital. Dr. Schening has worked as a Pediatric Hospitalist at Rockford Memorial and as a Clinical Pediatrician in the Rockford Health Systems. In 2005, she began her practice, which has since expanded. Dr. Schening is a very caring, supportive, and compassionate person. She has completed CEHD Homeopathy courses and is affiliated with Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
